Bad Behavior better then good
How can bad behavior be better then good behavior? Lots of news use bad behavior from celebrities and almost never use good behavior. Celebrities’ bad behavior is covered more in news stories then positive behavior because it satisfies viewers, to cause rumors and gossip, and sends a greater message then good.
The first reason why news covers bad behavior then good is to satisfy the viewers. Because viewers want to see something out of ordinary, the news mostly shows bad actions of celebrities. Many people see good behavior too often that they wouldn’t want to see it on the news. Bad behavior however is something out of ordinary that many people like to see. News uses this to get people’s attention.
Another reason why news cover bad behavior more then good is to cause rumors and gossip. Because rumors and gossip all start based on what someone saw, the news provides the information to start gossiping. Many people want to gossip because they dislike that person or they just want to spread what they saw. Most rumors about the celebrities start on the news. Based on what the news say and show to people, they start gossiping on that. People use news to start gossip and rumors based on what the news showed about celebrities’ bad behavior.

The last reason why bad behavior is covered more on the news then good is because bad behavior sends a greater message to the viewers. Because negative behavior is unusual, many people want to see it. People want to see bad behavior from celebrities because they don’t like them or it surprises them. News knows this and shows only the bad behavior to get everyone’s attention.
Bad behavior satisfying viewers, to cause rumors and gossip, and sends a greater message then good is why news use celebrities’ bad behavior on news then good. Many celebrities use bad behavior more than their good behavior, which creates trouble to the public and themselves

5 questions Evaluate
1. How can my learning serve my community?
It will help others on creating projects.
2. How can your future projects become better?
To make more detailed flip book to better explain the design cycle.
3. What have you learned about yourself and what you will continue to do or not do and why?
That if it is super important, I will use the steps of the design cycle to get the best program to create the best product I can make.
4. How do you feel about your final product? What would you rate yourself on the Rubric scale of 1-6 for each part of the Assessment Criterion?
I feel like my product is good but I might have done better if I had more time to work on it. i give myself a 5 on every part of the assessment criterion because I tried my best on each part.
5. What would you do differently in regards to your planning and execution of your plan? To spend more time on the create part of the design cycle.

3 designs
my first design is going to be all pictures to see if it is understandable to a 6th grader.
it is all pictures to see if a 6th grader can understand what the pictures mean.
my second design is going to have some words to identify pictures.
it would be like a picture book that tells what the pictures is doing.
my last design is going to explain the definition and then show a example by using pictures.
it would tell the definition and and show and a example using pictures.
Design Reflection
i give myself a 5 because i thought carefully about each design and picked the one that will work the best.

Investigate reflection
These last two weeks you have worked on your investigation process. Reflect and rate yourself using the rubric PLUS copy your response to QUIA.. Post with the subject INVESTIGATION REFLECTION. When you are finished continue with your 3 brainstorming designs.
I will give myself a 5 because i wasn't wasting time during class. i was prepared to come after school if i needed to. i did my best on everything i needed to do on that day.
You did not reach a standard described by any of the descriptors given below.
1–2 (60 / 70)You stated the problem.
You investigated the problem, collecting information from few sources.
You listed some specification points.
3–4 (75 / 85) You described the problem, mentioning its relevance.
You investigated the problem, selecting and analysing information from some acknowledged sources.
You described a test to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification.
5–6 (95 / 100) You explained the problem, discussing its relevance.
You critically investigated the problem, evaluating information from a broad range of appropriate, acknowledged sources.
You described detailed methods for appropriate testing to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification.

Design brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it. i am going to make a flip book about the design cycle for the 6th graders because it will give them a visual understanding.
Formulate a Design Specification
11. What are the requirements for this assignment? the requirements for this assignment is the simplicity for a 6th grader to understand.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment? That i only have a little bit of time to create a flip book.
13. How will you "test" your project? I will test it on how other students can easily understand the product.

PowerPoint
Category 1-10
Theme 8
Simplicity 7
Effects 9
Total 24
I gave a powerpoint a 9 on theme because the background can be what ever color you want it to be. You can also change the font to match the background. And you can can put animation on the slide, picture or text. That is why i gave theme a 9.
I gave a powerpoint a 7 on simplicity. It is simple to make a quick powerpoint, but when you want to add stuff such as animation on font, it can take awhile to understand it. On making it, it can take some time but it is simple when viewing it since you only have 2 buttons to use. It will be easy for 6th graders to understand since all they have to do is read and press 2 buttons. That is why i gave it a 9.
I gave powerpoint a 8 on effects because you have many effects to choose from. You can change how the font appears on the screen. These are simple effects so every modern computer should be able to run it. That is why i gave it a 9.

I gave flip book a 8 on theme because you can make the pictures you want them to be. It is also good for visual learners because it explains the design cycle using pictures. It also shows color so it isn't limited on black and white. This is why i gave flip book a 8 on theme.
I gave flip book a 10 on simplicity because it is very simple. All you have to do it to draw pictures. You don't have to read or write much which many students don't want to do. That is why i gave simplicity a 10.
I gave flip book a 8 on effects because it creates animation like you see in television. You can do many other effects using animation. Students would want to see this because it has animation so they aren't looking at a unchanging picture. That is why i gave effects an 8 for flip book.

design cycle #1
Area of Interaction: Community and Service , Approaches to Learning & Human Ingenuity
Significant Concept: Design Cycle can be used to solve problems
Unit Question: How can my learning help my community? How do I make Sound Choices?
INVESTIGATE: (Write in complete sentences) Identify the Problem
1. What is the problem you need to solve? Explain to a 6th grader what the design cycle is all about by creating a presentation. (3d, PPT, movie, game, Poster)
2. How does the Design Cycle apply to the real world? It shows the steps on making a product. In the real world people use this to create products.
3. How will this project serve my community? It will help 6th graders on what the design cycle is about and what it is used for.
4. How can my learning help my community? It will help people create products and compare them to see what is the best one.
5. How do we live in relation to each other? To compare each others work.
6. How does this help others? Someone might use this in the future.
7. What are the requirements for this assignment? identify the problem, write down all your sources, document info, and write a reflection.
8. What is the Design Cycle? a cycle you use to create a product.
REFLECT on your learning.
Day 2
9. Spend one day experimenting with DESIGN CYCLE your presentation. List five things your learned about the Design Cycle:
Day 3
Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.
Formulate a Design Specification
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
13. How will you "test" your presentation?
REFLECT ON YOUR LEARNING
PLAN:
14. Brainstorm ideas. Use the chart below
15. What idea did you choose to demonstrate the design cycle and why did you choose it?
16. Does your idea meet all of the requirements?
17. Use the story board paper below to plan your presentation. Include how many levels you will have, what will be on each level, how will you include teaching skills to young students, and what will your questions be about.
story board.pdf found in schoology under “materials” & then files.
18. Explain how you will use your time to get your project finished in 12 days:
REFLECT on your learning
EVALUATE:
20. How could you improve your presentation?
21. Does your presentation meet all of the requirements?
22. Share your presentation with at least 2-8th, 3-9th, 4-10th+ friends. What did he/she like about your presentation?
23. Reflect on all the steps of the Design Cycle. What did you do well? What do you need to improve?
24. Were you responsible in using the software, Internet, pictures, and computer?
25. How can my learning help my community?
26. What grade do you deserve on this project? (1 - 6)
ATTITUDE:
27. Reflect on your attitude on each step of the Design Cycle. Did you completely answer each step without complaining, being a whiny baby, or saying "it's too hard". Explain your answer:
28. What grade do you deserve on your attitude? (1 - 6)
